The top drawing is my favorite I've done in class so far. The model was terrific and he changed costume a lot during class!

I wasn't sure what to do with this climbing pose... What I came up with doesn't make any sense! Haha!

I'm loving this class so far! Mark McDonnell is a great teacher!

Gesture Drawing with Mark McDonnell: Class 3

I'm starting with class 3 because I don't really like my drawings from the first two classes. The are drawings from 2 and 5 minute poses.

I've been drawing with a big Sharpie chisel tip lately. It forces me to be decisive and keep my lines economical.
