Gesture Drawing with Mark McDonnell: Class 12

The doodles above were done while Mark was lecturing. I was trying to figure out how I wanted to draw the  model.

These are drawings from the last day of class. Our model was the guy that looks like Fire Lord Ozai from Avatar: The Last Airbender. The model, whose name I forget, is a real fire dancer by profession and also channels electricity through his body at some performances. How crazy is that?

 I loved this class and I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to get better at drawing for the purpose of storytelling. Sexy time.

We missed class since Marie's flight back from Colorado was delayed and then we got stuck in traffic. We ended up getting sushi at Kabuki in Pasadena.
